Sheetz Turns Over New Leaf

Retailer now stocking Baywood's teas

ALTOONA, Pa.-- New Leaf Brands has announced that New Leaf Tea is now available in all Sheetz Inc. convenience store locations across six states including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina. The beverage comes in 14 flavors.

White Tea flavors include Ginseng & Honey, Honeydew Melon, Strawberry and Tangerine; Green Tea flavors include Ginseng, Mango and Plum; Blue Tea flavors include Lemon, Diet Lemon, Peach, Diet Peach and Raspberry; and Black Tea flavors include Mo-Tea-To Lime & Mint and Sweet Tea.

"Having been in the [image-nocss] beverage industry for over 15 years, I have watched the innovation of Sheetz with making their stores a 'one-stop shop'," said Ty Harris, regional manager for New Leaf. "They like being the first to market with good products and are not afraid to try new concepts. People can always find something new and exciting at Sheetz, and now it is great to see our product in all of their stores."

5,000 accounts in the Northeast and is emerging in the Southeast, Midwest and South Florida through more than 50 distributors and approximately 5,000 accounts including the independent grocery/restaurant "street" channelbagel stores, delis, pizzerias, cafes, independent c-stores, college book stores and other outlets.

New Leaf Brands is a wholly owned subsidiary of Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Baywood International Inc., which develops, markets and sells nutraceutical and nutritionally enhanced products and new age beverages under its own brands. Baywood's products are sold under the LifeTime nutraceutical brand and the New Leaf tea brand.

Sheetz, a family-owned convenience store chain headquartered in Altoona, Pa., has 344 locations across six states including Pennsylvania, Maryland, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina and more than 11,000 employees.
