Tedeschi Raises Temperatures

Retailer adds Celsius to beverage cooler

ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Tedeschi Food Shops Inc., a leading convenience store in the Northeast with locations throughout Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut and New Hampshire, will offer Celsius Holdings Inc.'s Celsius, the Original Calorie Burner, in all of its 189 stores. Tedeschi Food Shops will carry four popular flavors; Sparkling Cola, Sparking Wild Berry, Green Tea Raspberry Acai and Green Tea Peach Mango.

Celsius will be found on a full shelf of the innovation door in the beverage cooler, according to Steve Monaco, director of purchasing for Rockland, Mass.-based [image-nocss] Tedeschi Food Shops.

Janice Haley, vice president of strategic accounts and business development at Delray Beach, Fla.-based Celsius, said, "We are expanding in the New England area and pleased to highlight Tedeschi's 189 stores as a go to location for Celsius, in our ads on radio and TV."

Celsius contains no sugar, no preservatives, no high-fructose corn syrup, no aspartame, no artificial flavors and contains very low amounts of sodium. Celsius drinks contain a proprietary blend of ingredients including Green Tea with EGCG, ginger, caffeine, calcium, chromium and B Vitamins and Vitamin C. The company said that the beverage has been scientifically shown to raise metabolism over a three-hour period and that consuming Celsius results in a sustained calorie burn while keeping the drinker energized.
