Convenience-store chain Sheetz is looking to hire 2,200 employees across its six-state footprint. It will host hiring events and on-the-spot interviews to help reach this goal, including a jobs fest in Pennsylvania.

Sheetz, based in Altoona, Pennsylvania, plans to hire 800 employees in its home state.  Sheetz will hold the jobs fest—including on-the-spot interviews—from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. EDT  on March 27 at its more than 300 Pennsylvania locations. Those interested in attending will need to apply for a store position online at jobs.sheetz.com.

  • Sheetz is No. 12 on CSP’s 2023 Top 202 ranking of U.S. convenience-store chains by size.

Sheetz has been named a 100 Best Company to Work For for eight straight years by Fortune and Great Places to Work. The c-store chain offers competitive pay and benefits packages to all employees, it said, along with an employee stock ownership plan, tuition reimbursement, flexible schedules, opportunities for advancement and more.

Sheetz operates more than 720 stores in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, Virginia, West Virginia, Ohio and Maryland.
