Travel plaza chain Onvo introduced a new hot food program called Food on the Fly, making its debut at the retailer’s location in Dorrance, Pennsylvania.
The Food on the Fly program features hot grab-and-go food and is designed to serve travelers and truck drivers. The menu is based on Onvo’s new toasty Craveritos, hearty bowls and snackable sides, and it will have offerings for breakfast as well as for lunch and dinner.
The hot grab-and-go program is currently available at the company’s Dorrance location. The company will roll it out to all Onvo locations soon, it said.
At all upcoming new-to-industry Onvo locations, Food on the Fly will also include a made-to-order area where customers can pick from an expanded menu and customize their favorites from the existing grab-and-go menu.

In celebration of the launch and National Burrito Day, April 4, Onvo gave away 100 Craveritos for free starting at the Dorrance location.
