GPM Investments LLC became one of the largest privately owned companies in the convenience channel when it acquired 263 stores in the Southeast from VPS Convenience Group. Since that 2013 purchase, GPM (parent company Petro Group Ltd.) has continued to grow through acquisition and shed underperforming stores.

In March 2015, GPM completed the acquisition of Road Ranger convenience-store sites. The 42 sites are being rebranded Fas Mart. GPM also acquired eight sites in North Carolina and South Carolina from Arey Oil Co. that are operated under the Scotchman brand. Under Arey, they were branded One Stop Food stores.

GPM completed the acquisition of the Midwest division of VPS, absorbing its Village Pantry and Next Door stores. The acquisition includes 116 stores in Indiana, 10 in Ohio, 30 in Michigan and seven in Illinois. They will continue to carry the Village Pantry and Next Door brands and be operated under the VPS Group within GPM.

GPM operates as Fas Mart and Shore Stop, along with the former VPS brands. The Scotchman, Young's, Li'l Cricket, Everyday Shop, BreadBox and Cigarette City stores are now in the GPM Southeast division, with sites located in North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia. Li'l Cricket stores are being rebranded Scotchman.

In 2014, the chain picked up five Get & Zip sites from Hurst Harvey Oil in Virginia.
