Fast Stop of Louisiana has acquired the 12-unit Snappy Mart Stores chain of convenience stores in Grant County, New Mexico, from W&N Enterprises Inc., Silver City, New Mexico, according to a report by The Silver City Daily Press. The Snappy Mart locations in Grant County and Deming will be Fast Stop’s first locations in New Mexico.

Fast Stop of Louisiana, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, has more than 24 c-stores in the Bayou State, Amer Quran, chief financial officer of Fast Stop, told the newspaper. Fast Stop was formed in 2015.

The stores changed hands as of the close of business Dec. 15 from W&N Enterprises to Fast Stop of New Mexico, said the report.

The new owners will continue to use the Snappy Mart brand, the report said. The companies promised that additional details of the deal will be forthcoming.

W&N will continue to operate the two Food Basket grocery stores, Silver City Beverage Co., Snappy Liquor and Wranglers Bar & Grill, Jim Nennich, owner of W&N Enterprises, told the paper.
