LAKE SUCCESS, N.Y. -- Hain Celestial has launched three new snacks under its Garden of Eatin' and Sensible Portions brands. All of the new products are made with non-GMO ingredients; they have no artificial preservatives or fillers, and are gluten-free. Items are available to retailers through distributors and direct-store distribution.
The company said the Garden of Eatin' brand is responding to consumers by expanding its portfolio with better-for-you options of the most popular flavors in the conventional tortilla-chip category.
Here's a look at the three new snacks ...
Sea-salt flavored Sensible Portions Garden Veggie Chips in mini heart shapes are available only at Target this year. They come in a 12-pack of 0.5-ounce single-serve bags. The snacks contain zero grams of trans fat.
Sensible Portions has debuted a new stackable chip flavor, salt & vinegar. The chips are made with potatoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, pumpkin and beets. The snacks are available at Kroger stores, including Kroger convenience stores across the country. The 5-ounce canisters have a suggested retail price of $1.98.
Two new boldly seasoned flavors of corn chips are available nationwide, sold in 5-ounce bags at a suggested retail price of $3.49. Nacho flavor features cheddar with paprika. Ranch offers hints of buttermilk, garlic and onion.
Founded more than 40 years ago, Garden of Eatin' has more than 35 varieties of all-natural tortilla chips, including blue corn tortilla chips. The Hain Celestial Group is based in Lake Success, N.Y., and includes brands such as Celestial Seasonings, Earth's Best, Ella's Kitchen, Terra, Healthy Valley, Arrowhead Mills, MaraNatha, Avalon Organics and Queen Helene, in addition to Garden of Eatin' and Sensibe Portions.
