Yesway has donated $100,000 to Operation Homefront in celebration of Military Appreciation Month in May. The convenience-store chain is also inviting customers to support this nonprofit through in-store purchases or Smile Rewards donations at any of Yesway’s 435 locations across Texas, New Mexico, South Dakota, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, Wyoming, Oklahoma and Nebraska.

The retailer will donate 10 cents to Operation Homefront for every purchase of a 28-ounce BodyArmor sports drink, 1-liter beverages or any Yesway or Allsup’s private-label brand salty snacks. Yesway and Allsup’s rewards members can also contribute by using Smiles (loyalty points) through the rewards app.

Operation Homefront builds strong, stable and secure military families so they can thrive, Yesway said. The nonprofit helps military families overcome short-term difficulties so they don’t become long-term hardships.

“Military Appreciation Month holds special significance for us at Yesway, and we are privileged to support the incredible work of Operation Homefront,” said Tom Trkla, chairman and CEO of Yesway.  “Our commitment extends not only to our customers but also to veterans who live and work in communities we serve and within our corporate and retail teams. We are immensely grateful for their service.”

Yesway is a c-store operator established in 2015 and based in Fort Worth, Texas. It has 435 stores across nine states, including stores under the Allsup’s brand.
