KENT, Wash. -- Meat snack maker Oberto Brands has teamed up with a San Francisco Giants player on some new digital marketing that launches online today.
Hunter Pence, outfielder for the professional baseball team, is featured in a series called "Pence-ive Moments." The videos show Pence deep in thought, reflecting random stuff while eating jerky. Those thoughts include being naked in a gym, facial hair and what he would bring on a deserted island.
The videos run 15-30 seconds and will be featured on Oberto's Facebook page and YouTube channel, with new videos appearing at various times throughout the year.
The first video can be viewed here.
This digital series marks a new move in Oberto’s athlete endorser program. The company launched its first digital series with Rob Gronkowski and Richard Sherman called "Gronk & Sherm Talk about Stuff While Eating Jerky."
Oberto Brands is a family-owned business that makes meat snacks including jerky, pepperoni and other smoked meats. The company was founded in 1918 by Constantino Oberto in Seattle, Washington. It is now based in Kent, Washington.
