MAYWOOD, Calif. -- SRR Holdings has elevated Frank Callis to the position of president of Royston LLC. Callis will also serve as a member of the board of SRR Holdings Inc., the holding company for both Royston and SignResource LLC.

Royston designs, manufactures and installs custom checkout and merchandising fixtures and equipment. The company’s core customer base consists of convenience stores, grocery and mass-merchandise chains across North America. Its headquarters is in Jasper, Ga., with two additional manufacturing facilities in Atlanta and Royston, Ga.

“Frank is a strong and enthusiastic leader; [he is] deeply knowledgeable of Royston’s customers, products, processes, and enjoys broad support across the organization,” said Jim Todd, chairman of SRR.

Callis has been with Royston since 2009, most recently as its senior vice president of manufacturing, in which he oversaw manufacturing, engineering and sourcing. Prior to that post, he was Royston’s vice president of sales. Under his leadership, the company saw sales revenues increase 20%.

“I’m honored and privileged to lead and work with such a great team at Royston,” Callis said. “I feel very optimistic about the future growth opportunities for this company and grateful for the valuable support we receive from Industrial Opportunity Partners (IOP), as well as the ability to now leverage the joint power of Royston and SignResource to offer more value to our customers.”

IOP, an Evanston, Ill.-based private-equity firm with $910 million of committed capital since inception, invests in manufacturing and value-added distribution businesses with sales of $30 million to $400 million. IOP provides management and operational resources to support sales and earnings growth at its businesses.
