ATLANTA — InComm has acquired Hallmark Business Connections, the business-to-business incentives subsidiary of Hallmark Cards Inc. The company specializes in products designed to boost employee engagement through incentive programs built around physical and digital gift cards.

InComm made a similar move in April when it acquired the distribution rights of American Express prepaid reloadable and gift-card products in the United States.

“Hallmark Business Connections has built on the iconic Hallmark greeting card brand to empower companies with the means to create personalized incentive programs that recognize employees for dedication to their organization,” said Brooks Smith, CEO of InComm. “By combining this business with InComm’s existing loyalty and incentives solutions, we are able to offer an unprecedented level of technology and expertise that will help companies create the most engaging incentive programs possible.”

The acquisition of Kansas City, Mo.-based Hallmark Business Connections reinforces InComm’s transition from specializing in the delivery of stored-value rewards to providing a comprehensive suite of end-to-end services for incentive programs.

Atlanta-based InComm specializes in payment technologies, including prepaid products and products for paying bills, using a membership card, purchasing digital goods or adding funds to an online account.
