RedPrairie Named to 2012 InformationWeek 500

Retail technology firm recognized for customer support, employee communications

ATLANTA-- RedPrairie Corp., a global supply chain and retail technology provider, announced that it has made this year's InformationWeek 500, an annual listing of the nation's most innovative users of business technology. Winners were announced on Sept. 11, 2012, at the information technology publication's awards ceremony in Dana Point, Calif.

RedPrairie received this award based on a strategic internal initiative to upgrade its phone system and call center capabilities. As a global organization with customers located in more than 50 countries, RedPrairie offers customer support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. By adopting a software-based phone client, RedPrairie was able to unite its global support team while enabling more than 200 users to remove the physical phones from their desks and move to a more agile and mobile work style.

"The InformationWeek 500 has recognized the most innovative users of business technology for 24 years, and this year's innovations were particularly impressive," said InformationWeek editor in chief Rob Preston.

In addition to the call center upgrade, RedPrairie's sid that it has launched RedPrairie Support Cloud, a self-service, interactive support portal that provides immediate access to any type of support need, including product support, product documentation, training opportunities, community-based forums and user group communities.
