Zenput Acquires Data Platform

Dashboard Advantage expands data collection and reporting

SAN FRANCISCO — Zenput, an operations execution firm, has acquired Dashboard Advantage, a platform that convenience stores and other multiunit foodservice operators use to improve store execution and benchmark performance across locations. The deal brings together Dashboard's broad focus on store operations and Zenput's more specific tools, such as smart food temperature monitoring.

“Since the beginning, we have been focused on giving restaurant, convenience, retail and other multiunit operations leaders the tools needed to achieve a step function increase in the quality and consistency of execution across their operation,” said Vladik Rikhter, CEO of Zenput. “I’m thrilled to welcome the Dashboard Advantage team to Zenput, where their industry expertise and years of experience tackling similar problems puts us in an even stronger position to make customers successful.”

Dashboard Advantage will retain its platform for the foreseeable future, said Rikhter in an exclusive interview with CSP Daily News. Dashboard co-founders Tom Hart and Sam Coon will also continue working with the company. The combined companies work with 26 of the top 100 c-store chains in CSP's 2019 Top 202, which measures c-stores by company-owned store count.

San Francisco-based Zenput serves restaurant, retail and other multiunit operators such as 7-Eleven, Chipotle, P.F. Chang’s and Domino's. The businesses use the platform to automate how operating procedures and initiatives are rolled out and enforced. Zenput’s products can be found in 40,000 locations in more than 35 countries.
