After the recent devastating storms and tornadoes in the Midwest, Casey’s General Stores Inc. has launched a round up campaign supporting the American Red Cross. Shoppers can round up their purchase at Casey’s convenience stores across Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma through May 10.

The company is making a $10,000 donation to the Red Cross.

“When our community needs us, we're there. Our neighbors in Iowa, Nebraska and Oklahoma are picking up the pieces after severe storms and tornadoes. Help Casey's support the response and recovery by rounding up your purchase when you shop,” the company said in a Facebook post.

In other community and industry-supporting efforts, Casey’s also has made a $100,000 donation to build the new DMACC Transportation Institute, which is training a new generation of truck drivers. The new building will allow the CDL training program to double its student capacity, resulting in more fully certified truck drivers. The project, which started last year, will be completed in 2025. It will include a three-story garage, new concrete pad and demolition of the old Transportation Institute building.
