Pilot Co. Appoints New Chief Operating Officer

Pilot Co. has named Brad Anderson its new chief operating officer.

Anderson began his role in August, and since 2019, he has held roles including senior vice president of operations, zone vice president, division vice president and field operations, according to his LinkedIn profile.

In other recent Pilot news, the chain invested $1 billion in its New Horizons initiative to remodel stores, improve the customer experience and meet the needs of interstate drivers. By the end of 2023, Pilot Co. aims to open more than a dozen new travel centers, add more than 20 dealer locations to its network and create over an additional 30 stores across 28 states.

With headquarters in Knoxville, Tennessee, Pilot has more than 800 retail and fueling locations and supplies more than 14 billion gallons of fuel per year to the market. Its Pilot and Flying J travel center network includes more than 750 locations in 44 states and six Canadian provinces with more than 790 restaurants, 75,000 truck parking spaces, 5,300 showers, 6,200 diesel lanes and truck maintenance and tire services with Southern Tire Mart at Pilot Flying J. The One9 Fuel Network connects a variety of fueling locations to provide smaller fleets and independent professional drivers with value, convenience, credit and perks.
