HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. —Mars Wrigley Confectionery is adding a new product to its M&M’s lineup.

In the 2019 M&M’s Flavor Vote campaign, fans chose English Toffee Peanut as their favorite new flavor.

The candy features a combination of sweet toffee and savory peanut covered in milk chocolate and wrapped in a crispy shell. The candy can be found nationwide in share size (2.8 ounces) and share size stand-up pouches (8 ounces).

Mars Wrigley launched the campaign earlier this year by rolling out three limited-edition flavors—Mexican Jalapeno Peanut, Thai Coconut Peanut and English Toffee Peanut—at retailers nationwide from Jan. 28 to May 17. Fans then voted on their favorite product.

"We love inviting our fans to partake in the flavor innovation process and influence the M&M's products they see on shelves," said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, brand director for M&M's. "We were thrilled to see so many of our passionate fans engage in the campaign and cast their votes, with English Toffee Peanut as the overwhelming fan favorite."

In March 2018, the campaign featured Crunchy Espresso, Crunchy Raspberry and Crunchy Mint flavors. Crunchy Mint won the competition.

McLean, Va.-based Mars Inc. is a global manufacturer with more than $35 billion in sales. Besides M&M’s, the brands of its Hackettstown, N.J.-based Mars Wrigley division include Snickers, Dove, Milky Way, Twix, Doublemint and Skittles.
