HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. – Mars Wrigley Confectionery has launched yet another M&M’s Flavor Vote Campaign to bring a potential new variety into the candy's permanent lineup.

Mars Wrigley will offer three limited-edition flavors—Mexican Jalapeno Peanut, Thai Coconut Peanut and English Toffee Peanut—at retailers nationwide between Jan. 28 and May 17, during which fans can vote for the flavor they most enjoy. The company will announce the winning flavor in August, and it will continue to be sold at stores around the country.

"With M&M's Flavor Vote back this year, we're thrilled for our fans to vote and are sure the three internationally inspired flavors will excite their taste buds," said Allison Miazga-Bedrick, brand director for M&M's. "We believe flavors have the power to transport you, and this time, we are making that journey a reality by offering participating fans the chance to win a trip around the world."

Voting opens Jan. 28, and fans who cast their ballot enter for the chance to win trips to Mexico, Thailand and England. The voting can be done at the M&M's website or through texting the word “Vote” to 84444 and following the instructions in the reply message.

M&M’s Flavor Vote Campaigns have become somewhat of an annual tradition. In July 2016, the brand let consumers vote on the top peanut-flavored M&M, which came down to Original Peanut, Chili Nut, Honey Nut and Coffee Nut. With more than a million votes, Coffee Nut came out on top. In March 2018, the campaign featured Crunchy Espresso, Crunchy Raspberry and Crunchy Mint flavors—the latter of which won the competition.

McLean, Va.-based Mars Inc. is a global manufacturer with more than $35 billion in sales. Besides M&M’s, its brands in its Hackettstown, N.J.-based Mars Wrigley Confectionery division include Snickers, Dove, Milky Way, Twix, Doublemint and Skittles.
