BATTLE CREEK, Mich. — A new, limited-time Pringles release sees the snack brand coupling with quick-service restaurant chain Wendy's. Kellogg's Pringles has partnered with the hamburger franchise to create the Pringles Baconator, based on the chain's popular bacon-laden hamburger.

The specialty hamburger includes a half-pound of beef, American cheese, six strips of Applewood smoked bacon, ketchup and mayo. Pringles has packed all these flavors into one potato crisp, the one-bite Pringles Baconator.

“The Pringles brand delivers insanely accurate flavor combinations that are both delicious and convenient,” said Gareth Maguire, senior director of marketing for Pringles. “With such a strong fanbase, we knew we had to nail that fresh, never-frozen Wendy’s flavor perfectly. Luckily, our flavor experts were up to the task. The Pringles Baconator crisps are the perfect way to enjoy the savory goodness, all in one bite.”

Pringles Baconator is available for a limited time beginning in June.

“We’re excited to work with the flavor experts at Pringles to deliver the taste our fans know and love in a unique way," said Carl Loredo, Wendy’s U.S. chief marketing officer. Dublin, Ohio-based Wendy's Co. franchises more than 6,700 restaurants worldwide.

Battle Creek, Mich.-based Kellogg Co. is the maker of such brands as Pringles, Cheez-It, Special K, Kellogg's Frosted Flakes, Pop-Tarts, Kellogg's Corn Flakes, Rice Krispies, Eggo, Mini-Wheats, Kashi, RXBar, MorningStar Farms and more.
