Riviana Foods Rolls Out Rice With a Kick

HOUSTON, Texas — Riviana Foods Inc. is launching its Mahatma Ready to Heat Rice in a new flavor: Chipotle Jasmine Rice. The line already consists of Garlic and Olive Oil as well as Cilantro and Limon.

“Busy consumers can expect the same convenient and high-quality ingredients they rely on so they can spend less time prepping and more time enjoying their meal and the moments that matter,” said Ana Del Campo, senior brand manager at Riviana.

The Houston-based brand’s rice is microwavable and ready in 90 seconds. It is available in 8.8-ounce pouches at retail and convenience retailers nationwide.

Riviana Foods Inc., owned by Ebro Foods, is a branded and private-label rice maker, marketer and distributor. Its products include Minute, Mahatma, Success, Carolina, Comet, Adolphus, Blue Ribbon, RiceSelect, Gourmet House and Tilda.
