The FDA also wants to find ways to more efficiently become aware of violations affecting youth use of e-cigarettes, such as illegal product marketing to youth. The agency seeks to be faster and more agile in identifying new risks. The FDA said it believes companies are creating products and marketing products outside its premarket review process, and it intends to take action whenever appropriate. The agency will evaluate ways to strengthen its partnership with sister agencies, including the Federal Trade Commission, and will also announce additional enforcement actions in the coming months.
