The FDA sent letters requesting similar documentation from four additional e-cig and vaping companies on May 17, 2018. The agency said the companies/products were selected based on attributes that overlap with Juul, including the use of e-liquids containing nicotine salts with a high nicotine concentration; a small, easily concealable size; and design features that make the products easy to use.

The companies/products that received letters were:

—J Well, Paris, for the Bo Starter Kit
—YGT Investment LLC and 7 Daze LLC, Baldwin Park, Calif., for the Zoor Kit
—Liquid Filling Solutions LLC, King of Prussia, Pa., for its Myle Products
—SVR Inc., Las Vegas, for the SMPO Kit

These four companies were given a deadline of July 12, 2018, to submit documentation to the FDA.
