Retailers can view the results from compliance-check inspections on a database run by the FDA. The database is searchable by retailer name, city, state, ZIP code or date. Users can also search using an interactive map by state or region, and they can view whether a retailer received a warning letter, civil money penalty, or No-Tobacco-Sale Order (NTSO). The database will also inform retailers whether they cleared the inspection with no “observable violations.”

It’s important to note, however, that if a retailer is not in the database, that does not necessarily mean they are compliant.
