Shop Rite/Tobacco Plus closed one store last year and now operates 58 convenience stores under the Shop Rite, Tobacco Plus and Discount Outlet brands. Stores are located throughout Louisiana, offering fuel, food, payday loans, home supplies, convenience items and more, according to its website.
The chain's proprietary Bourbon Street Deli makes its own potato chips and prepares shrimp po'boys and other Cajun specialties. Shop Rite/Tobacco Plus has a new partnership with Door Dash, offering foodservice items for delivery from some locations.
The chain's Beaucoup Rewards program was expanded to add a fuel discount and a "Gator Gas" program for additional cents off per gallon.
