Vintners Distributors owns Loop Neighborhood, a chain of convenience stores in California featuring fresh and healthy products along with standard c-store fare. Vintners operates 51 Loop Neighborhood Marketplace c-stores, and the rest of its stores are Shell- or Chevron-branded gas stations. The brand is supported by more than 20 fuel tankers that are visible on the highways throughout the Bay Area, where more than 130 company-operated stores are located. The company also operates gas stations and car washes and develops real estate. Vintners has a wholesale division that delivers fuel to about 60 dealer locations in the market, but the company has no other influence on products or operations for those locations.

In 2023, Vintners opened its first Poppy Market. The new c-store and fuel-station concept launched in Arbuckle, California, on Feb. 25. It features a car-charging station, dog-washing service, restaurant-style kitchen, car wash and more. The goal was to develop a private fuel brand tied to the overall c-store brand, Varish Goyal, CEO of Poppy Markets and Loop Neighborhood Market told CSP.

In 2021, Loop Neighborhood expanded its partnership with AiFi, a provider of frictionless autonomous shopping experience, to introduce AiFi's computer vision, camera-only platform to its existing stores in California, starting with two Bay Area locations. This expansion follows AiFi's initial partnership with Loop Neighborhood to design an autonomous gas station using AiFi's NanoStore model in Campbell, California, in 2019.

For benchmarking purposes, store counts are as of Jan. 1, 2023.
