Campbell Oil, which operates Minuteman Food Mart, is family-owned and based in Elizabethtown, N.C. The company operates convenience stores in four North Carolina counties. It focuses heavily on car washes, giving its BellStores a competitive advantage; some are double-bays and all are touchless.

The majority of the chain’s trade area is rural, and some Minuteman Food Marts serve as the only food store in town. Minuteman Food Marts have a loyalty program called “Minuteman Fuel Rewards Club” at select locations. Customers receive instant savings on fuel and select Food Mart purchases. Mobile apps are now available to customers who want to receive special deals.

The company’s newest stores are brightly lit facilities with colorful interiors; one has a corner entrance. New stores average 2,800 square feet.

Campbell Oil was founded in 1948 and is a third-generation family operated business that has distributed Shell products for 50 years.
