Jolley Stores

Jolley Associates operates 43 Short Stop and Jolley stores primarily in Vermont, with fewer than half a dozen stores each in New Hampshire and New York. Most locations are branded Short Stop. Newer stores feature earth tones and larger bathrooms, in an effort to appeal to women.

Jolley Associates is a subsidiary of S.B. Collins, which distributes Mobil, Irving, Shell, Valero and Gulf products to retailers and businesses in Vermont and New York, and supplies the fuel at all its Short Stop and Jolley locations. The company supports the Muscular Dystrophy Association and raises money for the charity in its stores each year.
