The population of Tennessee’s Davidson County (county seat Nashville) increased nearly 15% in the past 10 years, according to the 2020 Census, equating to one new resident every hour. Tennessee continues to attract world-class businesses to the state, many of which are establishing a presence in the Nashville metropolitan area. They continue to be drawn to its diverse economy, low cost of living and favorable taxation laws. It’s projected that more than 500,000 people will move to the Nashville area over the next two decades.
