NASHVILLE -- Nashville-based Tri Star Energy opened its newest Twice Daily convenience store in Franklin, Tenn., earlier this year with a new coffee concept, a wide-open layout and a locally sourced fresh deli concept.
Here's a look inside the new store, which trades on the creed "building lasting relationships by serving our community" ...

Tri Star Energy has opened four new Twice Daily c-stores integrated with its White Bison Coffee concept. Half the store is dedicated to the cafe. Free Wi-Fi and a community table with seating allow guests to relax with a coffee or enjoy a bite to eat while checking emails. Pictured here is the chain's Gallatin, Tenn., store.
White Bison Coffee is a complete coffee-shop concept, staffed by full-service baristas and featuring beverage menu items such as brewed coffee, frappes, cold brew, nitro coffee, teas and Italian craft sodas. It also has a food menu that includes breakfast and lunch items.
A new floor plan positions the checkout in the middle of the store, with White Bison on one side and the c-store on the other. The checkout pods, deli case and other endcaps are highlighted with LED lighting underneath.
Rather than having one long counter, Tri Star Energy is now using checkout pods, which allow for more intimacy with the customer.
A fresh deli endcap offers locally sourced sandwiches, salads and snack boxes, as well as fruit and better-for-you beverages.
Pastries and doughnuts are available in an endcap on the Twice Daily side of the store.
The Twice Daily beer cave is stocked with a collection of big-brew suitcases and craft-beer six-packs.
