Aphrodise Rose offers a bright cherry color and aromas of ripe strawberry and cherry. The varietal’s low acidity adds balance and freshness while pairing well with a presence of sugar, the supplier says. Each cuvee of Aphrodise is culled from a carefully selected blend of quality Xinomavro grapes from Greece. Aphrodise Rose is the first rose to be designated by Afrodis AOC, the governing body that grades and qualifies sparkling Charmat wines from Continental Europe.
