Stryve Foods Inc., a protein snack brand, has expanded distribution and will now be available in more convenience stores, including Dash In, Holiday Oil, Timewise and Family Express.

Stryve offers high-protein, low-carb, air-dried meat snack products. The company has three brands: Stryve, Vacadillos and Kalahari. Stryve was formed in late 2017, and the concept contrasts the traditional jerky and stick segment and is unique to the category, Chris Boever, CEO at Stryve, told CSP.

Earlier this year, Stryve snacks entered TravelCenters of America, Royal Farms, Circle K in select regions, Kum & Go, Hutchinson Oil, Murphy USA, Plaid Pantry, Cal’s Convenience, CEFCO, Enmarket, G&M Oil, GetGo, Jacksons Food Stores, NEXCOM, Parker Co., Pilot/Flying J, QuickChek, Refuel, Sunoco, Town Pump, Vintners and United Dairy Farmers. It is also offered at 7-Eleven and Speedway.

“We are excited to partner with these esteemed retailers to bring Stryve’s innovative snacks to even more consumers across the country,” said Chris Boever, CEO at Stryve. “Our mission is to help Americans snack better, and we’re doing that by providing people with convenient and significantly more nutritious snack options that support a healthy and active lifestyle. The inclusion of these retailers in our distribution network allows us to reach a broader audience and further deliver on that promise.”

The snacks will also be available at Southeastern Grocers, Cub Foods, Lunds/Byerly’s, Fresh Thyme, Lowes Foods and the Army and Air Force Exchange Service (AAFES).

The Plano, Texas-based brand also recently expanded distribution of select products from its Vacadillos line to the Albertsons Cos. Inc. Albertsons operates stores under more than 24 banners including Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, Shaw’s, Acme, Tom Thumb, Randalls, United Supermarkets, Pavilions, Star Market, Haggen, Carrs, Kings Food Markets and Balducci’s Food Lovers Market.

Stryve has keto and paleo diet friendly products that are made of beef and spices, are never cooked, contain zero grams of sugar and are free of monosodium glutamate, gluten, nitrites and preservatives. Its product portfolio consists primarily of air-dried meat-snack products marketed under the Stryve, Kalahari, Braaitime and Vacadillos brand names.
