By Rachel Gignac on Jul. 22, 2022ALEXANDRIA, Va. — The NACS Foundation is recognizing July 24 as 24/7 Day to celebrate the partnership between the convenience-store industry and first responders, medical and emergency professionals and American Red Cross volunteers.
Participating c-stores are offering deals for hometown heroes on July 24 and are donating a portion of sales for certain products throughout the month of July.
“Most convenience stores are open 24/7, which is especially important during times of need, like wildfires, tornadoes, hurricanes or snowstorms,” said Stephanie Sikorski, vice president of marketing at the National Aassociation of Convenience Stores and executive director of the NACS Foundation. “These are the times when communities not only rely on their local c-store for essentials, but also the first responders and American Red Cross volunteers who are dedicated to keeping our communities safe.”
