Greenville Double

Sheetz opens 2nd store, 12th in N.C.; donates $5,000 to Little League

GREENVILLE, N.C. -- Sheetz Inc. opened a new 5,000-square-foot convenience store in Greenville, N.C., yesterday.

The newest addition to the 333-store chain is the second in Greenville, bringing the total of Sheetz stores in the state to 12. While the store has opened to the public, employees will host a community grand opening celebration on Thursday, March 22, with a ribbon cutting ceremony set for 3:30 p.m. As part of the March 22 festivities, the company will present $5,000 to Greenville Little Leagues.

"It's exciting for us [image-nocss] at Sheetz any time we are able to bring our latest concepts in convenience to a new area," said Louie Sheetz, executive vice president, marketing, Sheetz, Inc. "We are grateful for the opportunity to reach out to the Greenville community with another location and we are excited to show our support for Little League baseball in Greenville as well."

Sheetz offers a new menu with a variety of fresh Made-To-Order items. The new store in Greenville features cold and toasted subs, freshly made salads, along with hot fries, onion rings, chicken fingers and burgers.

It also has Sheetz Bros. Coffeez, a full-service espresso bar staffed by a trained barista. Customers can order handmade coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos and mochashot, frozen or iced. Frozen fruit smoothies round out the SBC menu. Sheetz also offers new premium brewed self-serve coffees made from 100% Arabica beans in many flavors such as Breakfast Blend, Serious Dark Roast, 100% Columbian and Vanilla Nut Cream.

Self-serve milkshakes and self-serve bakery items are all available at the new store as well.

As always at Sheetz, customers place their food and specialty coffee orders at touchscreen order kiosks.

The Altoona, Pa., company operates more than 330 convenience locations throughout Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina. All Sheetz stores are open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
