Inside Nouria Energy's New C-Store Design

LEWISTON, Maine — Nouria Energy opened its first Nouria-branded convenience store in Lewiston, Maine, in November. The 6,000-square-foot store occupies a nearly 2-acre lot at a major intersection in Lewiston, nestled between Lewiston High School and Bates College. The made-to-order food counter serves sandwiches, pizza and salads from Amato’s, a New England Italian eatery staple.

The Cafe Nouria coffee bar includes bold graphics, fresh coffee options, creamers and sweeteners, plus a guarantee of freshness or it’s free. A dine-in area includes seating for 16 customers.

An open-air packaged food cooler is stocked with sandwiches, wraps, salads and fresh fruits.

Customers find fresh produce and grocery staples on their way to the cold dispensed bar, which offers f’real shakes, a digital fountain machine, frozen beverages and iced tea.

Nouria’s Kitchen acts as a mini grocery, with fresh fruits, vegetables and other staples.

All of Nouria’s coffee drinks, beverages, breakfast sandwiches and other foodservice options are available through the drive-thru window.

The new Nouria store sells Irving-branded gasoline, which Nouria says is Maine’s favorite fuel brand.
