7-Eleven Extends Gilbarco Agreement

Dispenser purchasing agreement renewed through 2010

DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. has extended its dispenser purchasing agreement with Gilbarco Veeder-Root through December 2010. Gilbarco has been the primary supplier of fuel dispensers for 7-Eleven stores since 1972.

The company will continue to purchase Gilbarco Encore dispensers, which offer a variety of models for alternative fuels, advanced security and payment options.

"Gilbarco dispensers have been an important part of our successful interaction with customers at the fuel island," said Bill Runciman, general manager of gasoline operations at 7-Eleven. "We look forward to working [image-nocss] with Gilbarco on new developments that further enhance our gasoline customer's experience."

Greensboro, N.C.-based Gilbarco Veeder-Root (and its Gasboy subsidiary) are major suppliers of integrated fuel control, site management, and support services for petroleum marketers and commercial fueling enterprises worldwide.

Dallas-based 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 7,500 7-Eleven stores in North America and globally some 33,700 stores are in 17 countries.
