Terrible's Offering Free Car Washes to Vets

Honoring military veterans, active military service personnel Nov. 11

LAS VEGAS -- This Veterans Day, Terrible's Car Wash is continuing a Las Vegas tradition it began years ago. To show its support and gratitude for our armed forces personnel, Terrible Herbst is rewarding U.S. military veterans and armed forces for their service with a free car wash.

Military veterans and active military service personnel may visit any of Terrible's 17 manned car wash locations in Las Vegas anytime on Friday, November 11, and receive a free basic full service or basic exterior car wash. Military service personnel and military veterans must show their military ID to receive their complimentary wash; one wash per military ID.

"Our armed service personnel do so much for our country, that we wanted to do our part to recognize their service and say thank you on Veterans Day," said Scott Horner, director of car wash operations for Terrible Herbst.

Terrible Herbst Inc. was founded in 1959 and consists of more than 18 car washes, 19 lube locations and more than 100 convenience store/gas stations in the Las Vegas area. The stores offer gasoline and value-priced beverages, cigarettes and more.
