LAS VEGAS — Some big names and not-so-big names were showcasing new alcohol beverages at the 2022 NACS Show in Las Vegas in early October.
Seagram’s, Hard Rock and Lipton—yes, Lipton—joined Big Deal Brewing and others on the show floor with flavors such as Peach Punch, Tiki Punch and Strawberry Hibiscus.

The four newest flavors from Topo Chico Margarita Hard Seltzer are Signature Margarita, Tropical Pineapple, Strawberry Hibiscus and Prickly Pear.
Each 12-ounce can is 100 calories and 4.5% alcohol, and the Plano, Texas-based company said its hard seltzers bring a unique twist to classic flavors.
The Signature Margarita also comes in a 24-ounce can. Topo Chico Hard Seltzer is owned by Coca-Cola, Atlanta, and distributed by Molson Coors, Chicago.
FIFCO USA's Seagram’s Escapes has four new spiked flavors debuting in April 2023: Blood Orange Peach, Pineapple Cherry Lime, Tiki Punch, and Cherry Smash.
The Rochester, N.Y.-based company said the drinks, with 8% alcohol, will come in 16- and 24-ounce cans.
The flavors were displayed at the NACS Show in bottles.
Big Deal Brewing is a new brand just released by Toronto-based Labatt Brewing Co. and Barstool Sports’ Spittin’ Chiclets hockey podcast.
The Original Golden Ale cans are now available in Massachusetts, Michigan, New Jersey, New York, Ohio and Pennsylvania. Spittin’ Chiclets co-host, former NHL player Paul Bissonnette, and the Barstool Sports crew worked with the brew masters at Labatt to develop the golden ale.
Available in 12-packs of 12-ounce cans and 6-packs of 16-ounce cans, it will expand to 15 more states in 2023.
Davie, Fla.-based Hard Rock’s two newest cocktail flavors are Long Island Iced Tea and Hurricane. The ready-to-drink beverages come in 19.2-ounce cans and contain 10% alcohol.
The Hurricane, Hard Rock said, is inspired by one of the café’s signature cocktails. “The original drink is based with amaretto, grenadine and both dark and light rum,” Hard Rock said. “To receive the sunset look you would see in your glass, the liquors are layered within pours of orange juice, pineapple juice, and mango juice.”
The Long Island Iced Tea blends four liquors plus a dash of Coca-Cola.
Hard Rock ready-to-drink cocktails is owned by Stewart’s Enterprises Inc. , Lincroft, N.J.
Calling itself the “World’s Tastiest Party Punch,” ready-to-drink cocktail and wine brand BeatBox comes in flavors such as Blue Razzberry, Cranberry Dreams, Fruit Punch, Juicy Mango, and Peach Punch. The beverages contain 11.1% alcohol.
The containers are recyclable and resealable, noncarbonated and gluten-free.
BeatBox Beverages is based in Austin, Texas.
Set for a debut in April 2023, Lipton Hard Iced Tea malt beverages are the result of a partnership between the tea company and Buffalo, N.Y.-based FIFCO USA.
FIFCO is producing the beverages, which contain 5% alcohol and come in four flavors: Half and Half, Lemon, Peach, and Strawberry.
Lipton is owned by Unilever, London, and PepsiCo, Purchase, N.Y.
