Landry, Bishov Launch Capital Insight

Private, membership-basedfirm offers innovative approach to investment banking
SCOTTSDALE, Ariz. -- Greg Landry, a long-time operator and investment banker, and Brett Bishov, an investment banker and capital markets specialist in the multi-unit retail and real-estate industries, have announced the launch of Capital Insight LLC, an investment banking firm offering dedicated and private advisory services, including M&A, corporate finance and other services on an on-demand basis to its member clients.

Scottsdale, Ariz.-based Capital Insight commenced business on Jan. 1, 2010, and it is actively engaged in the industries it serves.

Capital Insight [image-nocss] applies the "OnStar" approach to investment banking offering its member clients unlimited access to some of the most experienced and creative bankers; knowledge about industry performance, best practices, enterprise valuation trends and other major capital market issues; and an expansive network of M&A participants, capital providers and senior advisors.

"Capital Insight was formed in response to business operators who were looking for around-the-clock (24/7) on-demand access to a team of dedicated bankers who have been entrepreneurs, business leaders and capital markets' specialist and who can understand a business through the eyes of management utilizing first-hand 'been there' and 'done that' experience," said Greg Landry, managing partner. "Our member clients have told us that other firms offer professionals whose perspective on any engagement is reflective of their background and experience primarily as bankersa financial perspective singularly focused on a specific transaction. Our member clients wanted moreeffectively, a Wall Street CFO available for all of their needs without all of the expense."

Prior to founding Capital Insight, Landry was a partner at Trefethen & Co. (T&C), a privately owned, independent merchant banking firm focused on providing advisory services and transaction execution to various companies on a national basis including Alimentation Couche-Tard and its U.S. subsidiary Circle K Stores Inc. He was head of the firm's Investment Banking practice and responsible for advising clients on a broad range of transactions. Prior to joining T&C, Landry was a senior executive and majority equity holder at Dairy Mart Convenience Stores.

Bishov was also a partner at T&C where he was head of the firm's client origination group, responsible for executing a broad range of transactions including confidential M&A and corporate finance transactions. Prior to joining T&C, Bishov was head of the origination group at American Commercial Capital (ACC), a commercial finance company focused on providing capital and advisory services to companies in the multi-unit branded retail industries. ACC was acquired by Wells Fargo Bank NA in 2001.
