7-Eleven
7-Eleven, Irving, Texas, will offer any size coffee for $1 at participating stores nationwide on National Coffee Day. 7-Eleven offers four types of coffee: Cold Brew, Iced, Hot and Latte. The deal will run from 12:01 a.m. to 11:59 p.m and is available through the retailer’s 7Rewards loyalty program, which is accessible through the 7-Eleven smartphone app.
Pilot Flying J
Pilot Flying J will offer a free cup of hot or cold coffee in any size on National Coffee Day. The promotion is accessible though the Pilot Flying J mobile app. Pilot Flying J is also offering free coffee every Monday in September to celebrate Driver Appreciation Month.
The Knoxville, Tenn.-based retailer offers seven drip coffee blends, all of which are made through its bean-to-cup machines. The chain deploys coffee hostesses, who oversee customer engagement, coffee production and the roller grill and soda stations.
Cumberland Farms
Cumberland Farms, Westborough, Mass., will offer a free hot or iced coffee in any size for National Coffee Day. Customers must send a text message with the word FREECOFFEE to 64827 to receive a mobile coupon, which is redeemable for a Farmhouse Blend or Bold hot or iced coffee. The chain will also offer a free cup of coffee on its first “Try It Tuesday” on Oct. 15.
Cumberland Farms’ Farmhouse Blend Coffee uses 100% Arabica origin coffee beans. Customers can choose from five coffee varieties: Bogata Sunrise, Colombian Supremo, Farmhouse Blend, Farmhouse Bold and Farmhouse Decaf. At the chain’s flavor stations, coffee consumers can customize their drinks with free flavor shots.
Alltown Fresh
Alltown Fresh, the c-store market from Global Partners LP, Waltham, Mass., will offer consumers a free hot or iced coffee on National Coffee Day. The chain sources its coffee beans weekly from Connecticut and stores them whole for single-serve brewing. Blends include fair trade and organic choices such as Monadnock Blend, Stratton Blend and Guatemala San Marcos.
In addition to free coffee on the holiday, Alltown Fresh will offer one consumer the chance to win free coffee for a year. The customer must select the cup tagged with a winning sticker on the bottom. Another sticker awarding free coffee for a month will be placed on a second cup.
Love's Travel Stops & Country Stores
Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores, Oklahoma City, will offer consumers a large (24-ounce) coffee or hot beverage for $1 on Sept. 29 and 30. All hot beverage sales from both days will go toward Love’s 20th annual Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals campaign. Options included in the hot beverage special include Love’s signature house or dark roast blend; Colombian or Brazilian blend; pumpkin-flavored coffee; pumpkin spice or vanilla cappuccinos; and hot chocolate.
TravelCenters of America
TravelCenters of America, Westlake, Ohio, will offer customers one free cup of coffee on Sept. 29. Consumers may choose one of TA’s World Blends Coffee varieties, including Extreme, Columbian, High Mountain Arabica and the seasonal flavor, Bourbon Pecan. Members of TA’s UltraONE loyalty program can swipe their card at the kiosk and receive a coupon for an additional free cup of coffee through Saturday, Oct. 5.
Stewart's Shops
Stewart’s Shops, Ballston Spa, N.Y., will offer customers free hot, iced or cold brew coffee, any size coffee in any flavor, from 12:00 p.m. until close at all locations on National Coffee Day. There is no additional purchase necessary to receive a free coffee. Last year, the retailer gave away more than 112,000 coffees on National Coffee Day.
