Topper Takes 5 Joe’s Kwik Marts From CrossAmerica

Dunne Manning Realty acquires sites in Pennsylvania

ALLENTOWN, Pa. -- Dunne Manning Realty LP has acquired five Joe's Kwik Marts convenience stores in Pennsylvania, reported The Citizens’ Voice, citing property records. One of the stores is in Dunmore, one is in Pittston Township and three are in Scranton.

Allentown, Pa.-based Dunne Manning Realty purchased the locations from LGP Realty Holdings LP, a subsidiary of CrossAmerica Partners LP, also based in Allentown.

CrossAmerica Partners is a major wholesale distributor of motor fuels and owner and lessor of real estate used in the retail distribution of motor fuels. Its general partner, CrossAmerica became part of Laval, Quebec-based Alimentation Couche-Tard Inc. when Couche-Tard acquired CST Brands Inc. in 2017.

Former CrossAmerica CEO Joseph Topper Jr. is manager of Dunne Manning Realty, which he founded in 2014. Topper founded Lehigh Gas Partners in 2012. San Antonio-based CST renamed the company CrossAmerica Partners in 2014. Topper is still on the CrossAmerica board.

LGP Realty remains the owner of four Joe’s Kwik Marts in Wayne County, Pa., said the report.

Dunne Manning operates 200 sites formerly operated by Lehigh Gas-Ohio LLC. This group of sites includes Express Lane, Uni-Mart, Joe’s Kwik Marts, Rocky Top Markets, Zoomerz, Top Star and Choice Tobacco Outlets. It acquired 22 Hy-Miler c-stores in Ohio in 2016.
