NATO Show Offers Mobile Technology to Enhance Event Experience

Smartphone application now available to download for attendees

MINNEAPOLIS -- NATO, the National Association of Tobacco Outlets and the NATO Trade Show Committee have announced the NATO Show 2012 smartphone application is now available to download for attendees. This is the second year NATO has offered the NATO Show app and this year's version promises to keep attendees even more connected to the action, providing an enhanced event experience. NATO's 11th Anniversary and Trade Show is to be held April 24-26, 2012 at the Paris, Las Vegas Hotel in Las Vegas.

The NATO Show 2012 mobile app is user-friendly with robust technology including features such as an Exhibitor search with ability to locate specific exhibitor booths on an interactive Show Floor map, real-time communications with Show alerts, and detailed information of events and sessions with the ability to seamlessly add to your calendar. Attendees can even rate exhibitors, providing feedback on their experience.

For enhanced features of the 2012 app, NATO has partnered with CSP to provide real-time tobacco industry news directly in the app as well as a NATO Show Twitter feed ensuring attendees miss nothing at the Show and beyond.

The app remains available once the NATO Show has concluded, providing vendor information and exhibitor-provided downloadable PDFs year-round for attendees.

The NATO Show 2012 mobile app, powered by EventLink and created by Core-Apps, is available for iPhone, Blackberry and Android. This free app can be found by searching "NATO Show 2012" in these smart-phone application stores. A web-based version is also available for other smartphone types.

The NATO's 11th Anniversary and Trade Show is the premier tobacco-industry show for retailers, manufacturers and distributors. In addition to the trade show, the meeting features a host of outstanding educational sessions focusing on everything that tobacco retailers need to not only survive but to thrive in a difficult sales and regulatory environment. Proceeds from the show go to support NATO's legislative efforts to help the industry.
