Each month, 44% of c-store consumers report purchasing tea from convenience stores, according to Technomic. In particular, younger consumers and men are heavier users of both foodservice and ready-to-drink tea.
84% of 18- to 34-year-old c-store consumers report purchasing tea monthly, vs. 61% of consumers 35 and older. Sixty-six percent of female c-store consumers do so, compared to 70% of men.
