7-Eleven Offering Coke Chill-Activated Exclusive

Blue ice cubes appear on can when cold enough to drink

ATLANTA & DALLAS -- 7-Eleven Inc. and The Coca-Cola co. have teamed up to offer chill-activated cans, exclusive to the convenience retailer. Through the use of thermochromic ink, when chilled, the 16-ounce cans reveal blue ice cubes.

According to the 7-Eleven website: "You like your Coca-Cola cold, right? Like perfectly chilled. Well, now there's a can that does what your mere fingertips can't. Blue ice cubes will appear on the exclusive new chill-activated can when it's time to drink up. Blue cubes outside. Ice cold inside. Only at 7-Eleven."
