LA CROSSE, Wis. —Kwik Trip has introduced a new member to its family of brands: Kwik Spirits. The convenience-store chain, which has close to 800 convenience stores under the Kwik Trip and Kwik Star brands, made the announcement Jan. 24 on its Facebook page.

Kwik Spirits locations feature products including wine, liquor, beer and tobacco—including humidor cigars, roll-your-own, chewing tobacco, vape products and cigarettes, according to La Crosse, Wis.-based Kwik Trip’s website.

  • Kwik Trip is No. 12 on CSP’s 2021 Top 202 ranking of U.S. c-store chains by number of company-owned retail outlets.

Kwik Spirits can be found in Fort Dodge, Iowa; Cloquet, Rush City, Byron and Owatonna, Minn.; and Cumberland, Janesville and Baraboo, Wis., according to the website.

While the Fort Dodge Kwik Spirits is a standalone store, the other locations are attached to existing c-stores and were created to meet local licensing standards where side rooms and separate entrances are required, the company said.

Future expansion of Kwik Spirits will be on a case-by-case basis, according to Kwik Trip.
