DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. — ‘Destination’ retailer Buc-ee's is set to unveil its newest travel center—its second in the Sunshine State—in Daytona Beach, Fla., on March 22.
Buc-ee's Daytona Beach—first announced in 2017—will join Buc-ee's St. Augustine, which opened on Feb. 22. The two Florida outposts continue Buc-ee's multi-state expansion across the South, adding to stores in Georgia and Alabama. Lake Jackson, Texas-based Buc-ee's first travel center in South Carolina is also currently under construction and is slated for opening in 2022.
Buc-ee's operates 38 locations in Texas, where it was founded in 1982.
Buc-ee's Daytona Beach will occupy 53,000 square feet and offer 104 fueling positions with thousands of snack, meal and drink options for travelers on the go. Buc-ee's favorites including Texas barbeque, fudge, kolaches, Beaver nuggets, jerky and pastries will all be available. (Click here for a look inside the new store by the Orlando Business Journal.)

On March 22, the company will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony co-hosted by the Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce and attended by local leaders and community members including Daytona Regional Chamber of Commerce President and CEO Nancy Keefer and Chairman Leonard Marinaccio III.
