QuikTrip is entering the Sunshine State.

“QuikTrip is in the early planning stages of entering Pensacola, Florida,” Aisha Jefferson, the convenience-store chain’s corporate communications manager, told CSP. “We are currently in development on Pathstone Boulevard, with hopes of beginning construction in spring of 2026.”

Pensacola’s highly traveled interstate and strong economy makes it ideal for the retailer’s travel center concept, Jefferson said, adding the company is excited and looks forward to being good neighbors in the community.

“This will not be the first Florida location,” Jefferson said. “QuikTrip has other locations in development that are planned to open prior to the Pensacola location.”

Over the past year the Tulsa, Oklahoma-based retailer has expanded its unit growth nationwide, including the Midwest, Texas and Nevada. In April, QuikTrip opened a new travel center in Rockford, Illinois. And in March, it opened a new convenience store in Champaign, Illinois. This month, QuikTrip opened a new travel center in Monahans, Texas, in the Permian Basin oil region of West Texas. The convenience-store chain also plans to open its first location in Nevada later this year with plans to continue expanding in the Silver State.
