Harvest Sherwood Food Distributors

The Harvest Family of Companies is a nationwide food distributor with more than 6,000 retail and foodservice partners. In March 2017, it merged with Sherwood Foods in Detroit to form what it said is the largest independent food distributorship in the United States. Harvest and Sherwood stocks retailers throughout the country, including bakery, deli, meat and seafood departments. Offering commodities and branded products, the company focuses on the needs of independent and ethnic grocers, convenience stores, club stores and independent retailers of all sizes, as well as foodservice distributors and food manufacturers. It has more than 6,000 retail and foodservice customers, serving them from 12 sales offices and 10 distribution centers.
