Tedeschi Hires Fresh Foods Director

Supermarket vet Goodwin to oversee commissary, TD's Deli, dispensed beverages, more

ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Tedeschi Food Shops has announced that Bob Goodwin has joined its team as the company's director of fresh foods. Goodwin will oversee all facets of foodservice including the commissary, TD's Deli, fresh meat and poultry, freshly baked goods, produce and flowers, and hot and cold dispensed beverages.

Having spent 42 years in the supermarket industry, Goodwin brings a great deal of passion, knowledge and experience to Tedeschi Food Shops. He started his career at Star Market, which was later acquired by Shaw's Supermarkets, and went on to hold various titles [image-nocss] including director of store operations, vice president and general manager of Wild Harvest, vice president of merchandising support center store and, most recently, director of perishables.

Goodwin graduated from Suffolk University with a B.S. in Management, and completed the Food Executive Program at Cornell University.

The company operates 190 convenience store locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut.
