Rutter’s coffee offerings are all about giving consumers options, specifically 5.2 million of them. That’s how many ways coffee connoisseurs can customize its seven coffee blends and 35 flavor choices. The York, Pa.-based retailer leverages its dairy, which has been in operation for more than 200 years, to feature fresh milk and Half & Half at the coffee bar.

The retailers’ coffee blends include premium, Rainforest 100% Colombian, European Dark Roast, natural decaf and Hazelnut Creme. Rutter’s also offers a rotating seasonal flavor, such as buttered rum cake. Each blend’s label shows a caffeine meter to help coffee drinkers make an informed choice.

Last summer, Rutter’s partnered with S&D Coffee & Tea to introduce its second sustainable, single-origin coffee blend, a Guatemalan Highlands coffee. The retailer first partnered with S&D in 2017, and rolls out new blends every six months. “Giving back to our communities, helping protect our environment and operating with a high level of corporate responsibility are foundational pieces of Rutter’s strategic direction,” said Ryan Krebs, director of foodservice for Rutter's.
