Clark Makes CEO Appointment Official

Brand also expands into new market, launches new initiatives

LISLE, Ill. -- Clark Brands LLC’s board of directors has officially named Stacey Yimet CEO. CFO and COO Yimet had been acting as interim CEO, as well as holding the position of CFO, following the departure of CEO Stephen Ruch.

Yimet is a founding member of Clark Brands and has managed all aspects of Clark’s financial, IT, operations, compliance, sales and customer service activities and personnel. He has experience with petroleum supply and transportation and payment processing within the petroleum vertical.

“There is no one better to lead Clark Brands. Stacey’s experience as CFO and COO combined with his 30-year career in the petroleum industry make Stacey the perfect choice for Clark Brands’ CEO,” said Meghan Otis, managing member of Clark Brands.

In addition to the appointment of Yimet, Clark Brands has brought back Randy Naylor to assume the position of vice president of operations. Naylor has more than 20 years of experience, including 11 years working for Clark.

New Market, New Initiatives

Clark Brands has also entered into a new geographical market. The company has partnered with Bita’s Fuel Corp. to open 10 Clark gas stations in Puerto Rico. It will continue the expansion throughout 2019, the company said.

The brand has also launched new mobile and credit-card initiatives.

The Save Every Mile mobile application is available for both Android and Apple devices. Consumers can use the mobile app to search for Clark and Crown retail locations, along with the ability to purchase digital gift cards for use at participating locations.

Also, Clark Brands has eliminated the fee and program cost for accepting the Clark Crown Endless Rewards Mastercard Program. Clark and Crown marketers and retailers will be able to process Clark Crown Mastercard transactions at no cost to them.

Clark Brands, Lisle, Ill., licenses both the Clark and Crown gasoline brands and is a petroleum payment processing solution for more than 1,000 independent petroleum marketers and retailers in 32 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.
