Leadership Change at Clark Brands

Board names interim CEO, begins search for permanent successor

LISLE, Ill. -- CEO Stephen Ruch has left Clark Brands LLC, the company has announced. Effective immediately, CFO and COO Stacey Yimet, a founder of Clark Brands, will serve as interim CEO and continue to serve as CFO.

Yimet and the board are conducting a search for a permanent CEO.

“I have every confidence in the strategic direction and future growth of the Clark family of brands,” said Yimet. “Myself and the Clark team are invested in the success and growth of our partners.”

Prior to helping found Clark Brands, Yimet was director of project management at Priceline Webhouse Club and a member of the management team of Clark Retail Enterprises Inc., with a variety of roles during his 16 years with the company, including director of petroleum supply and transportation and director of planning and analysis. Also, as operations manager, his responsibilities included full P&L accountability for 162 convenience stores in Michigan.

Clark Brands, based in Lisle, Ill., licenses both the Clark and Crown gasoline brands as alternatives to the major brands. It also provides a petroleum payment processing solution to more than 1,000 independent petroleum marketers and retailers in 32 states and the District of Columbia. The Crown gasoline brand can be found at retail outlets in Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and the District of Columbia.
